May catch up

Just a little catching up with the family. We have been getting on the Bikes every weekend, for little rides to the Cafe's and the sidewalk along the beach. Zeric just loves it when James comes on the rides with us.

I was baking cookies one day and the only way I can do that is if I put a movie on for Z man. I gave him a warm cup of milk, got him all bundled up and put his most favorite movie on... the polar express. half way through the movie, he stopped singing along and talking along with the movie and this is what I found ! ;)

Easter Weekend

Just wanted to test out our new Camera ! So happy we have one again and I think Zeric is happy too!

The night before Easter we went over to Colin and Noelene's to stay the night. Zeric Just loves to help Gramps out with the BBQ. He will follow him anywhere and call him Bugga... another story for another time... oh but such a good one ;)

James found some old CD's and turned them up so loud you could here the music a mile away, but this just made Gramps and Zeric do the rain dance.

Easter Morning we went to the Farmers markets, where you can get fresh foods, home made and Gourmet food. Zeric of course found his area of the markets and had a blast.. it was so hard to drag him away from it when we had to.

So I bought him a wooden whistle...

Back at Nan and Gramps and Zeric is at one of his most favorite spots. He loves to sit on the step going out side where he can still see us, but still be outside.

It was so funny, more Eggs then the basket could handle... every time Zeric would put a new egg in and start walking... another one would fall out. It made for good laughs

James and I put little animal toys in the eggs, something he could play with and keep. We kept the chocolate for ourselfs ;) hee hee

The next day Zeric wanted to help Nan and Gramps in the garden and it just ended up turning into a huge game. I don't know who had more fun, Zeric or Gramps. He chased Zeric spraying him for at least 20 mins and Zeric laughed the whole time.

A nice way to relax and end the big weekend with Nan and gramps. Thank you so much for such a great weekend and some amazing food.

Sydney Aquarium

James and I thought a trip to the Sydney Aquarium would be a fun trip for a late birthday present for Zeric. We got there 30 minuets past his nap time and he still had a great time. In this picture he would have been the only little kid laughing and screaming for joy in all of the aquarium. He thought it was so funny the bird things were swimming !!

Zeric didn't know what to think of the big creatures, but he loved seeing them.

A pool where you could touch and no move... What does my kid do? He grabs one and tosses it... woops, I think we will save this pool for another year or two.

We walked through a tunnel that was all glass or plastic.... we got to see the creatures from all around... Zeric loved the fish under his feet !

After the Aquarium we drove around Sydney and made our way to Coogee, A suburb of Sydney and met up with a friend of mine from High school, Niki and her boyfriend. They just moved here and it was so nice to catch up with an old friend. She has found the only Mexican Restaurant in all of Australia, that is actually Mexican and good !! anyone who knows me, James and I have been searching for a Mexican joint for years !!! Everyone we find.... NOT !!

So all in all the day was such a great day ! I had such a great time with Z man and James and meeting up with an old friend. As always I just love love love going to Sydney ! For sure my favorite City in the world.
