Playing at the Park

Zeric has Nan wrapped around her finger and they both love it. Zeric just loves going over to Nan and Gramps house. When ever we drive into the driveway Zeirc starts screaming with joy and clapping. He knows what room to go to for his toys and what chairs we hide the toys behind. But we think his favorite thing to do, is cooking with Nan and Gramps.

Zeric is crying in this picture because he can't ride on the bike he's looking at. It's too big for him, but he thinks that's not a problem. James just trying to explain why he needs to grow an extra foot or two before he can ride that alone.

He had so much fun on the swings, he kept going back for more. I took so many pictures and I tried to pick only a few to put on here. But .....

This picture is blurry, I know. But I just love his Laugh and to catch a little in a picture makes me happy.

A Real Football game ;) Rugby

The Rugby !! This sport is so insane ! I'm sorry America, but this sport walks all over Gridiron. No pads, NO helmets, No odd chanting of numbers and best of all. They play for 80 mins with one break in between. No stopping every 5 seconds for a 2 mins break. They only time they stop a game is if the injured man is in the way of a play.
The only thing they don't have down is the Cheer leading, I'm not a big fan of cheer leading myself, but watching the girls at these games, makes me miss high school cheer leading. They wear no cloths and huge stripper boots and all they do is little hip shakes and hold pom poms. Not much cheering. So If they took American entertainment and put it together with Rugby, it would be the most Epic game ;) ha ha

Our local rugby team is the Newcastle Knights... I think that's what the dude on the horse is ;)

Some of the Games Entertainment, The local Aboriginal tribe did a dance on the field for good luck i think. It was so cool to see an Aboriginal dance in person. They had sticks and boomerangs and a didgeridoo.

Zeric was so scared of this guy, I have never seen him cry so hard over a dude. He liked Santa Clause !! ha ha ha

One last try to get a picture. Over all the game was so much fun, but we only made it into the second half and had to take off. Zeric was starting to get scared of the men sitting behind us. so far Zeric's sport is HOCKEY ! ha ha ;)

the frst part of August

James was so nice to spend time on a home made dessert. He made a three layered Chocolate Terrine. So insanely Rich and full of flavor and James still made a home made raspberry fruit sauce. It was so rich we could not finish it ourselves, So we had Jameso's Mum and Dad come over.... Aunty Chook too. We love having friends and family over for something home made.

I say Smile and Zeric pulls this face. It cracks us up so much, but we still love it oh so much. Aunty Chook and Zeric in Civic park, just after lunch. This is one of Zeric's favorite places to go. There's always kids running around and Nan's work is right there too! and is also across the street from our favorite Cafe !

Z-Mans first bubble bath ! He loves loves loves the bath.
When he finishes dinner, he will stand up and do the sign for Bath and try to say it too, "Ba Ba Bath" Did I mention he loves to brush his teeth ?

A TIME TO CATCH UP

If only he would fall asleep like this every day.. so cute and such a cuddle bug.

Zeric and his Mate Achilles. these two crack us up when they are together. Zeric will give only him a hug when he sees him and then Zeric tries to take toys away from Achilles and then there's some crying and laughing. Zeric loves the time he spends with his friend.

Zeric loves to help daddy in the mornings. He helps with our morning drinks to get the day started. and Zeric too ;)

Zeric and his first big birthday bash. Achilles 1st birthday. they had a big birthday blow out with balloons every where and face painting, yummy food and heaps heaps more. When we first got there, Zeric was over the moon with all the kids running around. When we put him down on the floor, he started going crazy with fun kicking the balloons all over the joint.

Leave it to my son to find the middle of a cafe floor in the middle of a birthday party a great rest area. just 5 mins and he's back in action.

James and I thought he would get over the balloons fast... no way. but he did find the trash can to be a great entertainment. our son was the only kid in the whole party laughing at the trash can. Oh he makes us so happy some times.... well all the time.

Australians crack me up. they have a thing for fairy's. Fairy lights, fairy floss, fairy this and that. but Fairy bread beats them all. Bread with some sort of a buttery spread and then sprinkles. this is a famous australian snack............... hmm?

James and his best friend Adrian. Birthday parties are a big deal here and Adrian's was Las Vegas theme. James went as Hunter S. Thompson and I went with a green visor and a sweet Hawaiian shirt.

Sunday at home

Sunday was a nice day to stay inside and be together. We spent the day Playing with Zeric and there's no relaxing in that ! and James Spent the evening making the most amazing Chicken dinner and the most amazing home made Chocolate dessert !

Taking a new interest in the Vegas way ... ha ha

A little fear and loathing. and don't worry that's only a prop for a costume I'm chewing on. People who have seen the movie will know all about it ;)

Zeric thinks that this is what he does when Mama says "SMILE !" So many pictures of him making this funny face.

Dad is home on Sundays and that means time to work on Z mans Swing. Zeric just loves to play gold with dad. and It's so much fun to watch, He really is a sponge ! every little thing James does... so does Zeric.

He's working on his photo shoots for when he older and famous. Zeric's really now catching on to the camera. He mostly just makes a funny "SMILE " face or runs away. Just my luck

High Five !

"SMILE" ha ha, Oh he makes me Smile and laugh so hard. He really does have such an amazing smile. but this is what he does ;)

The only way I'm going to get a picture of him really smiling, is in action. James and I chased him around for hours and our goal was to make him laugh.. it was fun taking so many snap shots.
So the next few photos are of Zeric being tickled and chased.
