A TIME TO CATCH UP

If only he would fall asleep like this every day.. so cute and such a cuddle bug.

Zeric and his Mate Achilles. these two crack us up when they are together. Zeric will give only him a hug when he sees him and then Zeric tries to take toys away from Achilles and then there's some crying and laughing. Zeric loves the time he spends with his friend.

Zeric loves to help daddy in the mornings. He helps with our morning drinks to get the day started. and Zeric too ;)

Zeric and his first big birthday bash. Achilles 1st birthday. they had a big birthday blow out with balloons every where and face painting, yummy food and heaps heaps more. When we first got there, Zeric was over the moon with all the kids running around. When we put him down on the floor, he started going crazy with fun kicking the balloons all over the joint.

Leave it to my son to find the middle of a cafe floor in the middle of a birthday party a great rest area. just 5 mins and he's back in action.

James and I thought he would get over the balloons fast... no way. but he did find the trash can to be a great entertainment. our son was the only kid in the whole party laughing at the trash can. Oh he makes us so happy some times.... well all the time.

Australians crack me up. they have a thing for fairy's. Fairy lights, fairy floss, fairy this and that. but Fairy bread beats them all. Bread with some sort of a buttery spread and then sprinkles. this is a famous australian snack............... hmm?

James and his best friend Adrian. Birthday parties are a big deal here and Adrian's was Las Vegas theme. James went as Hunter S. Thompson and I went with a green visor and a sweet Hawaiian shirt.

Sunday at home

Sunday was a nice day to stay inside and be together. We spent the day Playing with Zeric and there's no relaxing in that ! and James Spent the evening making the most amazing Chicken dinner and the most amazing home made Chocolate dessert !

Dad is home on Sundays and that means time to work on Z mans Swing. Zeric just loves to play gold with dad. and It's so much fun to watch, He really is a sponge ! every little thing James does... so does Zeric.

He's working on his photo shoots for when he older and famous. Zeric's really now catching on to the camera. He mostly just makes a funny "SMILE " face or runs away. Just my luck

High Five !

"SMILE" ha ha, Oh he makes me Smile and laugh so hard. He really does have such an amazing smile. but this is what he does ;)

The only way I'm going to get a picture of him really smiling, is in action. James and I chased him around for hours and our goal was to make him laugh.. it was fun taking so many snap shots.
So the next few photos are of Zeric being tickled and chased.

Mommy and Z man

Zeric and I went for a late walk and found ourselves at a Cafe on Darby st. We were there for about 30 mins and Zeric was such a champion. he sat there and talked to me... well he was baby talking to me. we got a huge yummy Carrot Cake and a Babyccino.

A Day out with Chook

This would be Aunty Chook with her "VEGGIE" wrap. she likes to think she's a vegetarian. So when she's eats meat, we all just play along and tell her it's tofu ;)

Zeric and his drink, he loves to be apart of our days out. But on this day, we all planned on staying inside and watching movies. but on a trip to get a snack and movies, I locked us out and Caitlin's phone was inside too. So we found ourselves making an adventure down town to find a phone. We ended up at Juicy Beans for some food and drinks while we wait for a the key to our house.

Zeric and his thing for birds... the kid will chase them all day long if we stayed at the park that long. It's so funny when he does chase them, he will yell at them little rants of baby babble. It's perfect when Magpie season rolls around because Zeric protects us from the diving hell bird. He's my little hero

A little catching up with Z

Zeric and Aunty Chook at the bus stop just down the street from our house. Chook has been wanting to be in our blog for so long now and this is the only picture I have of her in the back ground... the camera Died just after this photo. But when She randomly shows her face around here, we love it ! Zeric loves his Aunty.... I guess I do too ;) hee hee.

I Love to make it into town when the sun is out! and I love to meet up with Noelene at her work. If I time it just right we can catch her on her lunch break. So this is just out front of her work. P.s. Zeric is best mates with all of Nan's co-workers

I must Say I think Nan... LOVES being a Nan. Zeric is their first grandchild and both Colin and her are amazing with him and everything they do for us.

Now who do you think Zeric looks like ? these two boys make my life so happy !! I love being married to James and I love being Zeric's Mama ! I think we have a pretty great team going here ;)

OK the World Cup for soccer is on and James and I watch this religiously ! I don't like watching it any other time other then the world cup. I hate the Drama Queens who play in the Sport. but I love it when the world comes together to cheer for their Countries ! I love cheering for America in Australia and I love Cheering for Australia... I only hope each team gets better luck ! oyes and Zeric loves to watch it too !! this is his Socceroos scarf and he is ready to cheer for the home team.
This is a day out in town with Dad ! and this is Zeric's look ! he will pull this face anytime you want him to smile for the camera ! little munchkin !

Well I got to make a new Breakfast for James and I. For all who know me, you know we love German pancakes and the German pancakes the fluff up in the oven. But From what I have been learning from a Friend of mine who is German... Josephine. The pancakes I make all the time, they are from a certain region of Germany and she gave me a recipe from her region. we cook them in a pan and sprinkle sugar on top and then serve with apple sauce !!! yes apple sauce ! and it was so good !! I love getting recipes from around the world.
We got another recipe from my friend Kathy who lives in Italy. She sent a recipe for a pasta sauce that dated back a while ago and James decided to make it. He didn't want a photo put on here just in case it was wrong. But when we tasted it, we died and when to food heaven. yes I said there's a heaven for food. James loves to cook new recipes from around the world and I love eating them ;) hee hee

Finally a sunny day in Newcastle ! We decided to take a drive around town and we ended up at the beach just down the street from our house. Bar Beach is the beach I like to go to when I feel brave and want to go for a swim. But I'm still afraid of the ocean.
